IF I explode the object I'm displaying, the issue goes away and all media prints flawlessly. As soon as I print, random media vanishes. On screen, everything seems to look good. Why would 1/2 the sheet ignore them but the other 1/2 abide by them?ġ.) I have multiple viewports displaying the same object in a variety of orientations. The viewports to the right are abiding by the. The left viewports have random dimensions disappearing and printing in red (Layer Color). The line weights should be dictated by the. All colors are set to print as black.Ģ.) I setup a DIM layer and set the object color to īased on those restrictions and parameter settings, when I print the sheet, all dimensions should remain black and follow the. ctb file so all my line work is controlled by color rather than actual line weights. The DIMSTYLES tend to defy the parameters I have set and the media is random viewports disappear (on physical print only).ġ.) I setup a. When I try to print the sheet in paper space something odd happens. I am trying to use viewports to show various faces of a stone lintel & keystone. Autodesk tech support is useless and Microdesk tech support is one tier below them. I would also have a look at some of the plot routines by Maratovich may help also.Okay so I've been fighting with this for a couple hours now. Here is a freebie plot all from model space, but BIG BUT you will have to change your title block and change some of the code like your title block name, sheet size. A2 to say A3 is same, A4 I think is root2 1.414. We print A1 841X594 as A3 every day set plot scale for A1 then set plotting of sheet to 1=2 for A3. To print on say an A4 sheet its down around 6mm edge so you need to make your title fit in those clip limits, this is a very common and I guess beginners mistake, so you need say -12 all sides plus say 2mm and it will work for A2, A3, A4 100% every time. You have not taken into account what is known as the hard clip limit, for good printers these days it about 10mm on every side for an A2 sheet. Had a look at your dwg and you have a problem no matter what you do you have a title block at A2 size, the mistake you have made is that an A2 cut sheet of paper is exactly 594x420 mm there is no printer that will draw a line at that sheet size exactly on the edge.
